MEET THE OWNERS
Roy & Elaine are lifelong residents of Minster. We have worked in Hospitality Customer Service all of our lives.
Roy has worked at The Wooden Shoe Inn, CJ's Highmark's and The Inn at Versailles as well as selling wine for Heidelberg Distributing.
Elaine has been with Hobart, Tri Star Packaging and Minster Bank while raising our four children.
Working with the public has always been our passion and we have felt a need for accommodations in our area for a long time.
Looking to our future and with the hopes of someday retiring, we began to look at local properties to make into a bed & breakfast. Nothing seemed to fit or the numbers didn't work until we found this office space. It is a half block from our home and conveniently located in the center of Minster.
We completely remodeled the entire building and made five motel rooms. Using what we have experienced, we designed the rooms to be efficient, clean and up to date.
We opened for business in April of 2015 and have enjoyed every minute of it!
ABOUT MINSTER
Minster is located in west central Ohio. Founded in 1832 its early growth & prosperity were sparked by the Miami-Erie Canal and the trade route it created.
Agricultural abundance, entrepreneurs and the spirit of innovation flowed around the turn of the 20th century.
Modern day companies Minster-Nidec, Precision Strip, Machine Concepts and Post Printing have roots dating back to those early years and companies like Dannon Yogurt and Globus Printing have been deeply entrenched in this community for over 50 years.
Rich in our Faith, Minster is the gateway to "The Land of the Cross Tipped Churches" and the Twin Spires of St Augustine and can be seen as a giant "Welcome" as you approach this historic German community on your journey.
Amidst the business & industry of this area, you can find the quiet relaxation of Lake Loramie. Pontoons and Kayaks, fishing & bird watching are the pastimes here, and a great place to relax and unwind. The path along the Miami-Erie Canal is perfect for hiking or biking and is part of The Buckeye Trail. The Bicycle Museum of America and The Shrine of the Holy Relics are two impressive collections of artifacts that travelers are amazed to have discovered while here.

amazing experience
Beautiful outside and inside! The rooms were very clean and wonderfully decorated. Our family had two rooms for the night and it was our first time in Minster. Will definitely come back to stay!
